SCBC: Coats for the City
Coats for the City shares the love of Jesus by providing warm clothing and the gospel to residents of New York City each December. South Carolina Baptists began partnering with North Carolina Baptists and the Metropolitan New York Baptist Association (MNYBA) in this effort in 2021. Working with churches across New York City, we desire to distribute coats (from North Carolina), hats, gloves and scarves (from South Carolina) along with a Bible or Jesus film in the language of every recipient.
Screven will be collecting monetary donations for the hats, scarves and gloves to take to New York at the association office during the month of October. Please make your check to Screven Baptist Association and mark "Coats for the City" on it, OR you may donate online through our website, WWW.Screvenbaptist.org. A team of 8 from Screven has been selected and will be going to help with the distribution and sharing the gospel.
