THOMAS RICHARDSON
Associational Mission Strategist
Dr. Thomas W. Richardson served as the Director of Missions for the Waccamaw Baptist Association for over six years, helping to grow the association numerically and leading the association into financial stability. His vision is for Kingdom work and he strives to build partnerships locally, nationally and globally to reach the lost for Christ. He believes in investing time in developing relationships with pastors, churches and members of the community. Dr. Richardson meets people where they are and will often use his love of fishing and hunting to gain opportunities to witness, share the Gospel and disciple people.
He earned his Master’s Degree in Pastoral Studies and his Doctor’s Degree in Theology form Covington Theological seminary. Dr. Richardson pastored several churches in SC before becoming a Director of Missions.

SUSAN HARRIS
Administrative Assistant and Financial Specialist
Susan came to Screven in January 2005 to serve as the financial secretary. Over the years her role has changed several times. She has served as the full-time ministry assistant and the church and community ministries director. Her current mission is serving as the administrative assistant for the everyday functions of the association and with women’s missions, pastor’s wives and VBS ministries. She has a love for people and working with them to glorify God’s Kingdom. She is married to “Bubba” and has three children and three grandchildren, Mason, Haleigh, and Bryson. Her happy place is the beach and she also enjoys painting furniture.

Ashley Redfern
Web Admin/Media Design
Ashley joined the screven team in March of 2024 as web admin/media design. She serves to keep everything up to date online and present all information needed to enable churches to serve the Kingdom well. She has served in ministry from the time she was a small child, as a pastor's kid, to today as the pastor's wife. She is married to Justin Redfern, Pastor of FBC Eutawville, and has three sons. She enjoys serving her local church by assisting in leading worship, media design, and helping with the children and students. She also does freelance media design work for local churches. She enjoys weekends at the river with her family and Georgia Bulldogs football!
