Teacher Development Training
Limestone Baptist Church
We, at Limestone Baptist Church (LBC), have noticed that one of the big items missing in our church was any type of teacher development training. We have for too long just asked for volunteers and with little or no training or mentorship thrust them into the classroom and expected them to do a quality job of teaching. In an effort to correct this problem, LBC has established a Teacher Development Training Plan that we are implementing in an effort to promote proper teacher growth and development.
We believe that many of our sister churches may have a similar need, and we are extending an invitation for other churches to take advantage of this training opportunity. This training is offered to; all Christians who feel called to serve as teachers, those who may desire to become a teacher, teacher assistants, and even teachers whom are serving now who may just want some pointers on how to become a better teacher.
Training will be free to all who are interested.
The class will begin April 23, 2023 at 4:30 at LBC.
For those interested in attending please register by email so that we can reserve your seating and have enough materials available for all attending.

I. Introduction: About the Instructor – Hozea Clark
I’m a graduate of the Baptist College at Charleston (Charleston Southern), Class of 1973, with a degree in Secondary Education. In 1994 with the closure of the shipyard I was transferred to Sheppard AFB Texas. While there, I worked in Faculty Development, where I taught new instructors the art of teaching, I later became a Course Developer, a Training Manager, and finally Chief of Training Development where I supervised 12 Course Writers and over 30 courses. I was also privileged to be one of a select few, from Sheppard, to attend the 2-week OPM Management Development Course at the Western Management Development Center in Denver Colorado.
I’ve been a member of Limestone Baptist Church pretty much all my life, except for the12 years I was at Sheppard AFB. I’ve been married to Dorita Mellard Clark for 52+ years and we have one son Jason and two granddaughters Katie and Bailey.
