Tennis Shoe Drop Off at Screven
Mon-Wednesday June 19-20
FULL-TIME YOUTH AND FAMILY PASTOR: Santee Circle Community Church is prayerfully seeking a youth and family pastor who will disciple middle and high school students and their families, leading them to a deeper, more intimate, and personal walk with Jesus Christ. This full-time salaried position will be responsible for developing, overseeing, and directing all aspects of middle and high school youth, to include discipleship training, weekly youth meetings, community outreach, and fellowships. SCCC is seeking an energetic and creative leader with strong interpersonal, team building, and leadership skills necessary to mobilize a youth and family ministry capable of fulfilling SCCC’s vision of “Reaching Lost and Broken People for Jesus Christ.” A more-detailed job description is available at https://www.santeeccc.org/employment-opportunity.html. 1000 pairs of tennis shoes are needed! YES, 1000 pair
all sizes from Pre-k-12 grade for boys and girls!
BY JULY 1!
We have about 500 committed so far.....
This is a big goal, but our God is bigger!!
(we are way short of our goal projection at this time)
These kids probably will not receive new tennis shoes for school
unless we deliver!
If you or your church would like to provide some tennis shoes, please contact Sharris@screvenbaptist.org
ASAP so we know how many we have committed!
We have a contact that can provide them at 10$ a pair
if you would like the info!

Screven Men’s Ministry Meetings for 2023

We would like to encourage the men to participate in the collection of items needed for the Kentucky Backpack Ministry. Listed by each month are the items we will collect.
June 19 - Harleyville - Canned Ravioli, Spaghettios
July 17 - Jedburg - Vienna Sausage
Aug 21 - Wassamassaw - Crayons & Colored Pencils
September 18 - Salem - Canned Fruit- Metal cans only
October 16 - Berkeley -Box of Pop tarts
November 20 - Memorial - Beef Jerky/Beef Stick/Beef & cheese stick
The goal is to fill 1000 Backbacks!

Christmas Backpacks!

so we will know who is working on this project!
The Christmas Backpacks are off to a great start....Screven will be taking these bags and a small group to deliver to 2 schools in Jenkins Kentucky the first part of December.
If you would like to pack a bag, or sponsor a bag ($), or donate needed items,
please contact Susan at 843-870-4550! Our goal is 1000 bags!
