South Carolina Baptist Disaster Relief: Hurricane Ian response in Florida

The following South Carolina Baptist Disaster Relief units and volunteers are now on STANDBY for the Hurricane Ian response in Florida: Mass Feeding, Fixed Kitchen Feeding, Chainsaw with chaplain, Mud-out with chaplain, possibly Laundry.

Mass Feeding

Oct. 22 - 31: need 20 volunteers. Contact David Branton, scdrfeeding@gmail.com

Fixed Kitchen Feeding

Oct. 9-17: need 2 more volunteers ASAP!        Contact Morris Williams, dmwmew5@gmail.com.

Oct. 16-24: need 2 volunteers. Contact DOC (Disaster Operations Center), DisasterRelief@scbaptist.org.

Oct. 23-31: need 2 volunteers. Contact DOC, DisasterRelief@scbaptist.org.

Chainsaw

Contact your unit leader ASAP! Many units are already on the schedule. Volunteers are needed through the first week of Nov. These units need additional volunteers:

Mud-Out

Contact your unit leader. No units needed next week (week of 10/9) - waiting for water to recede. Will need units starting 10/15 through early Nov.

Laundry

Possible need for laundry volunteers each week through early Nov. Contact your unit leader. If none, contact DOC, DisasterRelief@scbaptist.org.

Chaplains

Oct. 9-16: two chaplains needed ASAP to go with scheduled teams! Contact DOC, DisasterRelief@scbaptist.org.
